Senior SAP Developer/Team Lead

2011-Present

Over two decades of experience leading SAP development initiatives and applying that same design philosophy to real-world S4/HANA and ECC systems. Architected modular frameworks, Core Data Services (CDS) views, and IDoc integrations that improved performance, reduced maintenance cost, and supported global rollouts. Mentor and manage a distributed team of developers, driving best practices in object-oriented ABAP and SAP extensibility. Developed custom ABAP solutions to support enterprise interfaces and automate data exchange, gaining deep experience in IDoc, RFC, and BAPI technologies that laid the foundation for future SAP architecture work.

Integration Analyst

2001-2011

Designed and maintained SAP and non-SAP system integrations across finance, logistics, and sales systems using integration middleware such as Seeburger, TrustedLink, and SAP PI/PO. Integrated ANSI X12, XML, SQL, and flat file formats with SAP and with IBM DB2 systems. Created custom solutions for multi-step processing scenarios and developed in-tool communication protocols that generated simplified error notifications for non-technical recipients. Established and maintained connectivity via VAN set up, direct AS2, and FTP/SFTP. Developed mappings, set up trading partners, and performed error monitoring. Created translation software in Java and Python, and prototyped an EDI-to-mobile device application.
